Rida Abi Farraj

Rida is an entrepreneur, passionate and a doer as well as strategic thinker. He is the Co-founder and General Manager of IoTPlus Middle East with wide experience in the fields of Business Development and Marketing across the GCC, who has more than twelve years of intensive experience and know-how in the Middle East. His specialties include Smart IOT Solutions, Information Technology and Services, Business Development & Sales and Marketing Management.

 

NG Thomas

40 years experience in Industrial, infrastructure and smart City solutions with a wide spectrum of experience in both industrial PLC SCADA as well as building sector BMS and ELV systems. Thomas is a pioneer in BMS industry with over 34 years in BMS field in UAE, having worked with all BMS systems such as Honeywell, Siemens, JCI and Schneider. Well experienced in best use of his hybrid controls knowledge, involved in all major iconic buildings in the Middle East such as Burj Khalifa Dubai in implementing BMS system. Thomas has served as technical advisors to CISCO for smart City, Brady Corporation and has spoken in several forums for smart City and conducted workshops.

Currently he is heading NG Global, a Dubai based BMS and Integration company, providing subject matter expertise in BMS, Metering, Energy management and Control Room services.

 

Mohammed Bin Kuwair

A visionary, motivational Leader with 12+ years of demonstrating exceptional strategic & commercial acumen within Sustainability/ Renewable Energy/ Project Management/ Business Development/ Stakeholder Management locally & globally.

Having worked with prestigious organizations (NPCC, ADNOC, ENEC, BEEAH and HCT) he has the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams to produce unprecedented results. Leading change, organizational restructuring and promoting Sustainable Development & Digital Transformation is second nature to him.

Katarina Hasbani

Katarina Uherova Hasbani is Partner and Global Director of Strategy and Advisory at AESG. She is an energy transition and sustainability professional with comprehensive experience in leadership positions across the value chain of the energy industry, encompassing utilities, oil and gas and renewables and large energy users. She has proven experience as an effective leader of global cross-functional teams and has spent 18 years designing strategies, public policies and implementing transformation projects across more than 30 countries in the Middle East, South-East Asia and Europe. Katarina covered cross-cutting themes shaping energy transition, including net zero, climate change, environmental protection, and sustainability.

 

She is an active public speaker and has authored a variety of studies on energy transition and decarbonisation. She is active in industry associations and is also currently a member of the Global Executive Committee for Insead Energy Alumni Club and local UAE Insead Alumni Association. Katarina mentors actively to promote balanced leadership among her industry peers and young professionals

 

Javeria Aijaz

Javeria Aijaz is the Senior Director – Technology & Innovation in FARNEK Services, the Swiss UAE-based Facilities Management Company. She is also Managing Director of Farnek’s technology arm – HITEK Services launched in 2022. Under the leadership of Javeria, Farnek has successfully went through the digitalization journey for FM Services. Technical Architect and Leader on Smart FM Solutions for Farnek, Javeria is an experienced Technocrat, Passionate IoT Strategist, with Software Development background and practical implementer for various Mobility, Cloud, IoT, Remote Monitoring, BMS, Artificial Intelligence, AR/VR, ERP solution.

Her team consists of developers, engineers and specialist in various technology segments supporting more than 3000 mobile devices and multiple platforms to improve communication and increase productivity, satisfying operational KPIs. Javeria is focused to change the trend from Traditional FM to Smart FM that empower buildings to be intelligent, resilient and sustainable.

James Michael Lafferty

Gordon Mitchell

Gordon is an FM digital solution architect and full life cycle transformation lead for Key Facilities Management International and Keystone Worldwide WX & FM Software.  Gordon has been heavily involved in the international movement towards sustainable and digitally intelligent whole life asset, buildings and cities pioneering environmental and socially responsible places and spaces.  Gordon is convenor with ISO technical committee 267 for working group 6 – Digital, Data and Technology in FM as well as supporting building SMART Internationals FM program. Gordon also has roles with European Standards CEN TC348 as co-convenor for WG6 space measurement/BIM in FM.

 

George Brill

Mr. George Brill is the founder and CEO of Talisen Technologies, Inc.,  a recognized leader in Secure, Enterprise IT Integration and Collaboration. A graduate of St. Louis University’s Aeronautical Engineering program, Mr. Brill began his career as a structural engineer with the US Navy at McDonnell Douglas. In 1991, he founded Talisen Technologies with his personal funds.

Eamonn Hughes

Eamonn Hughes is VP/GM EMEALA Digital and Strategic Accounts for Johnson Controls. In this role, he is responsible for the growth and deployment of OpenBlue (JCI’s Digital portfolio) in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America regions for Johnson Controls. In addition, he leads strategic accounts across the EMEALA region and is GM Ireland including site lead for JCI’s global HQ office in Cork, Ireland.

Eamonn has over 30 years leadership experience in the tech sector. He is an early advocate of the digitalisation of buildings with IoT technology and has worked on numerous smart buildings and sustainability initiatives with multiple global customers. He holds a BA degree in Mathematics and English, a HDip in Education from UCC.

Doney Mathew

Doney Mathew is General Manager of NG Global, a leading Smart Building specialist having implemented several landmark buildings in UAE and in Gulf and India. His work experience spanning over two decades in Integrated BMS, ELV, Remote monitoring, SCADA and Control Room.

He was involved in major projects like Burj Khalifa, Dubai Metro, Dubai Airport, Dubai mall. He has worked in the role as Project Management, Energy management, Remote Monitoring, Smart Facility Management.

Currently he heads the new smart initiatives of NG in infrastructure and facility maintenance with Digital initiatives such as IOT, remote connectivity, analytical algorithms to create a digital eco system.
